Born in Mullingar in 1970, Terry McMahon is an Irish director, producer, writer, actor and acting coach.
Starting with a role in a Hollywood movie...as you do!He played a SWAT officer who was working with the League of Shadows in the film Batman Begins. Terry went on to write and direct Charlie Casanova and Patrick's Day.The films won several awards internationally and have placed Terry as one of the most compelling and evocative talents in the Irish film industry today.
Terry joined Mario today for this weeks profile interview to talk Ireland, film, homelessness and his profound frustration with the government. Terry was one of the organisers of Apollo House and spoke of that experience and the speech he gave "This is Our Ireland".
When speaking about the Apollo House protest Terry says that they received thousands of responses from people who finally felt they had their position articulated.
