We have a new view on vision in the first episode of 2025 for Episode 160 of The Hidden Workforce!

We’re kicking off our season with featuring A New View Oklahoma! They’re a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose primary focus is serving people who are blind and live with low vision in multiple facets- from infants to grandparents- they serve all age demographics and vision loss recipients circumstances.

First, we hear from Terry Rairdon, Manager of New View’s Related Services where he talks about the many programs A New View offers to help serve people who are blind and visually impaired.

While speaking with him, we asked him if there were any stories of people they have served that stuck out to him and he immediately shared Kyle’s, so that is who we hear from next! Kyle Ford shares his story of total vision loss and how he has navigated his way back to independence and his new normal.
