In memory of Terry Williams, Chicago, 1927-2015. In May 1971 Terry Williams reconnected the Lönnbom-Lunbom-Lumberg family simply by coming to Sweden, seeking the place from which her grandfather, Otto Lunbom (Otto Fredrik Lönnbom 1856-1941) had come in the late 1800's. Here she recollects some of the stories she was told about the first settlers in Manson, Iowa, and their hardship.
