A sermon taken from the epistle of 1 John 4:1-4  and preached on Sunday 13th December 2020 during the UK lockdown.  The Apostle John wrote this epistle to encourage the saints in following Jesus.  The Apostle John is encouraging the church to use the spiritual gift of discernment to know good from evil, right from wrong.  In our dispensation all Christians should be watching and praying to know what is of God, and what is not, or as John wrote; 'test the spirits'.
