What happens when a man born without sweat glands decides to take on one of the most physically demanding training environments imaginable?
This is my testimony.
My name is Anthony Mitchell — The No Sweat Speaker. I was born with a rare medical condition called anhidrosis, meaning I have no sweat glands. My body cannot regulate its temperature like everyone else. Doctors told me my life would be limited. Heat was supposed to stop me.
But years ago, I was given an opportunity that made no sense on paper — the chance to train and serve as a Correctional Officer. A role built on discipline, endurance, and physical pressure. A role most people with my condition would never attempt.
In this episode of Testimonies on the Trail, I share the journey of stepping into an environment designed to break even the strongest candidates… and how faith, resilience, and purpose carried me through what should have been impossible.
If you’ve ever been told what you can’t do, this testimony is for you.
