Late last week the Texas House passed their budget and it is one of the most fiscally irresponsible actions of the legislature in Texas History. Property tax reform is also being significantly watered down this week.

I can guarantee you there is no way that John Zerwas, the chairman of the Appropriations Committee, is as irresponsible with his personal finances the way he is with Texas taxpayers.
