Is it possible to reconcile sacred texts and scientific knowledge? Are creationism and evolutionism incompatible or is it possible to believe biblical creationism being an evolutionist?

Mark Harris is a professor at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Acting in physics for many years, Harris is known (along with Steve Bramwell of University College London) as the discoverer of spin ice, an important area of research in the physics of magnetism. Shortly after this discovery, he began his studies in the field of theology and today combines his academic interests in physics and theology by running the Science and Religion program in Edinburgh. His research interests include the relationship between the physical sciences and theology and the impact of science on modern views of the Bible, especially when thinking of miracles and divine actions.
