The competitive Team Fortress Classic (TFC)scene reached its height in the early 2000's, and in its time, saw thousands of gamers, sitting behind CRT's and dial-up modems, organizing into clans and participating in competitive community-organized matches each week. The last match was played not long after the launch of Team Fortress 2 in 2007.
In 2020 the TFC Beer League was created, and now hosts weekly matches for 150 active players. Join Farmcheeze, NeonLight, Doug, Mattdev, and myself as we talk about the life and success of the league, the prospects of ongoing competitive TFC, and most importantly: community drama.
