It's easy to jump to condemnation, to discard people whom we dislike or who irritate us. Be careful of what you might be discarding, the strengths and skills they may be able to offer, if only they're treated in such a way that the good can emerge.

How do you unlock employee potential? Rather than discard them, consider if they've been given the opportunity to learn about themselves. Perhaps they need a role with greater or different responsibility.
