The Two Gay Geeks have a chat with David R. Slayton, author of the new book, White Trash Warlock. Look for it on October 13th. We talk with David about growing up in Oklahoma and how he came to writing as well as his style. We also reminisced about many OK folklore items. It was such a great time. I grew up in Guthrie, Oklahoma, where finding fantasy novels was pretty challenging, and finding fantasy novels with diverse characters was downright impossible. Now I live in Denver, Colorado, and write the books I always wanted to read.

My debut fantasy, WHITE TRASH WARLOCK will be out on October 13th, 2020 from Blackstone Publishing.

Not all magicians go to schools of magic.

Adam Binder has the Sight. It’s a power that runs in his bloodline: the ability to see beyond this world and into another, a realm of magic populated by elves, gnomes, and spirits of every kind.
