TG Geeks Webcast Episode 365

Listen Later

The Two Gay Geeks have a chat with Tommy Cannon who is one of our contributors who has brought us Dr. Zombie and The Nerdy Chupacabras. We chat about how we met and he became a part of the TG Geeks staff/ family as well as his other projects like Fred the Mustard Packet and his improv skills. We had a great conversation that was all over the board. As we tell our guests if we go off on a tangent, that is absolutely fine, we are here to talk about what they want to talk about. Have a listen and we hope you enjoy this as much as we did.

About Tommy Cannon

Hello, world! My name is Tommy Cannon. I'm a cartoonist and improv comedian. I do all kinds of goofball stuff. I perform improv comedy at ImprovMania & The Torch Theatre. I'm a penciller for Philip Haldiman's comic book My Big Break (the autobiographical comic about him playing Denny in The Room). I'm one of the artists from Shane Carey's Supersonic Soul projects as well. I even helped the Great Arizona Puppet Theatre create a character called Terrific the Tooth! I've also worked in animation, theatre, and logo design. Characters that I've created on my own are Fred the Mustard Packet, The Cross Guardian, The Desert Doods, and Dr. Zombie.

My hope is to add extra fun to Phoenix and the world. Punch your ticket for the Weirdo Train, there's room for everybody!

About Tommy Cannon's Creations

☀☀☀

Dr. Zombie - Monster Family Physician

The concept is that Dr. Zombie is a monster family physician because the mad science lab doesn’t pay much and he has to have a day job to fund his passion.

Nerdy Chupacabras

Nerdy Chupacabras are here to nerd-up the internet!

Fred the Mustard Packet

Fred the Mustard Packet is an absurdist cartoon character who shows the bizarre nature of modern society through his jokes and adventures. He is arrogant, loving, excitable, and once-in-a-while brilliant. His comics are updated every Friday on Webtoons.com

In our second segment, we chat about nothing since we spent so much time on the birthdays (probably the Ansel Adams segment....). We also highlight recent articles posted to tggeeks.com in the past week. As always we have our birthdays and we have the ever-popular feedback segment.

We welcome your feedback. Please, let us know what you think. Good or bad, we want to know and you could receive a shoutout in the feedback segment. Thank you for listening, we really do appreciate you taking time out of your day to spend with us.
