Eventhough we aren't quite out of the pandemic woods yet, it's a good time to take stock of what we've learned about ourselves, our churches, our district and synod structures in light of the events since March. Operating under the principle that crises reveal character before they build it, Ben Ball (pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hamel, IL, and 6th Vice President of the LCMS) and I seek to put our heads together to uncover the good, the bad, and the ugly.
