Amy Caster and Corey Reschke join us to talk about the Fourth Grade at Horizon Prep. Amy and Corey have worked together for years now. Their chemistry in obvious in their conversation. In addition to talking about the math and reading programs in Fourth Grade, there were several other interesting things Amy and Corey discussed. For many of their students, Fourth Grade is the beginning of independence and self-reliance. The students are responsible for taking notes during class and recording the homework assignments. There is still plenty of communication between the parents and the teachers, but the teachers let the parents know: It's time for the student to take responsibility. This Thursday at 9:00 in the 300 Room on the Horizon Church campus is our end-of-year question and answer forum with Pastor Bob.
