It's exam season! And that got me to thinking about my own personal exam experiences down the years, what went well and what could have definitely gone better...
The podcast acts as a chance to reflect and to hear some anecdotal stories of not just what I felt, but the experiences and learnings of others, as they offer pearls of wisdom as to how to remain calm and perform well in that environment.
Also, I know this is the first podcast in a while and there is a little life update at the start of the podcast to explain just why that might be!
I hope you enjoy this episode of Thacker's Sunday Hangover and if you can think of anyone who may benefit from or enjoy listening, please share and pass the pod around!
Love you all and have a great week!

On this week's MWR, I discuss the recent controversies in the media surrounding Molly-Mae Hague and Joe Rogan. 2 issues that have certainly brought important societal issues to light and I thought it would be good to have a conversation around them.
I say this on my podcasts and genuinely mean them. Please contact me @ [email protected] or on Instagram @thackerssundayhangover for dialogue regarding anything I talk about on the podcasts! I'd love to chat to you about them!
I also talk through some of the most prudent lessons learnt from the most recent book I have read, 'Performing Under Pressure', by Dr. Ceri Evans. This book has already helped me in both my professional life and personal life and just wanted to share this with you all!
As always I hope the MWR serves as some respite from our busy lives and you find it interesting!
Have a fantastic rest of the week!

On this Christmas Special edition of Thacker's Sunday Hangover, I reflect on 2021, not just the year on the whole, but some of my most poignant, personal reflections that I have made throughout the course of this year.
I hope you and your loved ones are having a beautiful festive period together and that you are all feeling the love.
Enjoy the podcast and Merry Christmas!

Happy Hump Day everyone!
As per I hope this Mid Week Remedy acts as some light hearted relief for you. On the MWR this week I talk about the importance of reflection, my Movember experience and take an objetive look at some funny things humans do that we have accepted as completely normal.
Please give the reflection stuff a go and tell me how you found it. I'm really interested to know your experience.

Returning for his 4th podcast appearance, I sit down with my good friend Ben Law to talk about Incourage, a group looking to take on some amazing challenges to raise money for Movember, who are helping to tackle the global mental health problem our society faces. It was great to find out about the mission, some of their values and all the great things the guys are doing to raise money.
We also talk about concussions, given both of our experiences with concussions in rugby and how like mental health, it's important to speak up and don't hide when there's a problem.
If you'd like to get involved or follow Incourage's progress go to Instagram @_incourage_ and find out how you can support their efforts for a very worthwhile cause.
I hope you enjoy the pod and have a great week!

On this week's episode I sit down with James Budd, one of my oldest friends, who recently completed the Land's End to John O'Groats challenge on a single speed bike. Those who know anything about bikes and cycling will know how tough a challenge this is and through my conversation with James we explore the extent of physical and mental exertion he had to go through to complete this challenge.
I had such a fantastic time learning about the ride and this episode is truly what I want the podcast to be about. Sharing great stories and bringing some enjoyment to your weeks. I hope you enjoy the podcast just as much as I enjoyed creating it.
James completed this challenge on behalf of LooseHeadz, a mental health charity doing wonders to Tackle the Stigma around mental health and progress the conversation.

Join my double jabbed ass this week as I reflect on the pandemic, how weird it has been, some of my biggest takeaways and quick look to the future.
I also very briefly express my pride as our British and Irish Lions beat South Africa in the 1st of 3 rugby tests on Saturday and then briefly mention the newly found continent Zealandia?!
As always I hope this provides some comfort and respite for you this week and I hope you find the things I waffle about interesting!
Look after yourselves and your loved ones.
Love you all!

This week I'm back home in Bishop's Stortford and like any true Brit, I'm talking about the weather! But I'm reflecting on how the weather may be starting to turn for the worse and how global warming may be the cause.
Although it is a scary reality, global warming is very much a large issue that we face, but the beautiful thing is is that we can do something about it! Let me try and put a positive spin on this and hopefully together we can all make a positive change!
I also talk about the nonsensical anti vax protests this week in London, as well as a large phalic shaped object being launched into space!
