Thales arrived in Dublin in 2017 and like so many who have arrived on these shores, has had many ups and downs throughout his journey here. Thales has a unique perspective on life and his ability to get through hard times whilst still maintaining a positive and focused attitude is something which I personally find very inspiring. On top of this he’s one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. In this episode he tells us about how he worked as a deliveroo rider and as a bar back whilst studying English when he first arrived in Ireland. Fast forward to five years later and he’s working as a developer in Dublin and the host of his own podcast, in which he has episodes in English and Portuguese.
