Brian Carpenter is the host of Free Association, a free-form radio show broadcast from WZBC-FM Boston College with occasional special guests. Carpenter is the lead singer of The Confessions and Beat Circus in Boston, and the founder of Brooklyn's Ghost Train Orchestra. Carpenter has also produced radio documentaries on sound design and innovative artists such as Ennio Morricone, Sam Rivers, and Raymond Scott.
