AFC Bournemouth entered the Premier League as newboys once again, like we did in 2015, written off by all the media including Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and loads of YouTubers (You all know who you are!)

After a 9-0 thrashing away at Liverpool, not many would actually argue with them. In this period Maxim Demin dismissed Scott Parker - of course this was before Bill Foley took over at the club.

Many thought the Cherries were doomed, however one man had other ideas. A man who joined the club as part of Jonathan Woodgate's team - that man was Gary O'Neil.

Gary suffered lots of criticism - PE Teacher, Clown... sometimes even worse by our own fans. But he continued regardless and successfully navigated the club away from the bottom three and a second season in the Premier League.

This is a video where Craig Beazley thanks Gary O'Neil, a man who he stood by throughout to get the job done, and say thank you to our excellent new coach.
