What a year of worry! I can’t remember a year where worried ruled like it has this year of 2020! 

 

 

And what is thanksgiving? 

it is practicing the power of Joy! 

AND WHAT IS JOY?

IT IS OUR STRENGTH! 

 

 

Gal. 5:22, 23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 

 

Joy is a fruit of the spirit. it is the spirit living inside us and released to do what god intended 

 

 

YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE JOY AS A FEELING… YOU HAVE IT AS THE SPIRIT OF GOD LIVING INSIDE YOU. LET IT OUT!

 

 

Thanksgiving is a choice = which produces Joy = is an intrinsic feeling from the soul.

 

 

We step outside our “feelings” and step into the supernatural… we practice thanksgiving against our feelings… it is the catalyst of joy. 

 

Col. 3:15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. (ALWAYS GIVE GOD AUTHORITY OVER YOUR LIFE)

 

 

When you worry about a problem or situation… who are you saying is in control? YOU or you wouldn’t be worried.

 

But if we are practicing thanksgiving we are saying “God I can rejoice about this because you are in charge!”
