Today, can be triggering, a day of intense sorrow, grief, shame, doubt, despair, hopelessness, and a feeling of inadequacy for many. The photos that flood social media of lovely family gatherings around a table with a large turkey in the center, a reminder of what a person does not have, a place of lack, a dark place. 

Focus on the Light of the World today, Jesus's love and all God has brought you through in the past. Remember how far you have come, the addictions you shed, the baby steps of healing, the miry pit Jesus pulled you out of. 

Look forward to a day with Jesus. Let praise be your weapon.
