In this episode, we talk alot of feelings sis! I know I am not the only one dealing with some grief surrounding the holidays. I’m not grieving a loved one that’s lost but the ones that are still here. My idea of family life at this stage looks completely different than my reality. Listen as I explore those things. By the end, you’ll be inspired, encouraged, and loved on!
Takeaways:
When we choose to not steward our relationships well, we are aiding the enemy in causing division amongst God’s people. I am holding myself more accountable for the unforgiveness that is lingering in my heart. Join me in that journey as I will be praying for you. Sometimes you have to be the catalyst for change in your family.
Scriptures mentioned, paraphrased, and referenced:
Romans 15:5 (NASB1995)
Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 4:31-32 (NASB1995)
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
1 John 5:2 (NASB1995)
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.
Psalms 133:1 (NASB1995)
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!
Proverbs 16:7 (NASB1995)
When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
