While I may be guilty of putting my Christmas décor up before Thanksgiving, which I’ve never done before, I have found that it hasn’t interrupted my train of thoughts when it comes to all thing’s turkey. For a matter of fact, I have found that with the excitement to pull out the red and green I have a felt more of a shift in my focus on our family. From reminiscing of those warm summer days together, to taking inventory of what our children have grown out of so quickly and what they will need for the colder days ahead and discussing around the dinner table what they would like to have for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Do anyone else’s kids request ocean spray cranberry sauce from the can? I hope today or later this week, you will have a chance to reminisce of Thanksgiving’s in the past as well as find some time to reflect on this year to see what you are reaping from what you have sowed.
