Look, we know we’ve been talking about it a lot here at WIRED Culture lately, but man, this past weekend’s Emmys telecast was really good. The right people actually won! The jokes were funny! The Stranger Things kids showed up! There were sandwiches!
Yes, Sunday’s Emmys show was truly special. So special, in fact, that it’s got us very amped for the upcoming fall shows. Granted, fall TV isn’t what it used to be and most of the shows we’re stoked for are just going to trickle out onto streaming platforms when they damn well please, but still! We’re very pumped to see them.
What about you? Are you as jazzed about television as we are right now? Good. We’ve got writer K.M. McFarland and editor Angela Watercutter in the Monitor booth and they’ve got a whole lot of TV to discuss for your listening pleasure.
