Barbara Busch recently made headlines with her death. Not because it was one of those typical celebrity deaths: suicide, heroine overdose or taxes! But because in the days leading up to her death she chose comfort care, also know as palliative care, and to die at home instead of continuing on with medical treatment to prolong her life.

She’s being applauded with starting that difficult discussion that many of us don’t want to talk about. That conversation called death.
