The Parable of the Sower can be found in Matthew 13:1-23. Jesus uses the parable of the sower to explain how we receive and understand the word of God. God plants the seed, he is the farmer. We are the soil and we all desire to be fertile soil where the word takes root in us, we understand the secrets of the kingdom and the word produces good fruit. However, we are not always fertile soil, we experience different seasons of soil. The good news is that we can work on being that good good soil together.
