There was only one person in the world who could have ever looked at the cup of God’s wrath sitting before humanity and said, “It isn’t fair for me to have to drink that.” And it so happens to be the very Person who picked it up and willingly drank it. This week, I dove into what a “cup-drinking life” looks like, where, for the glory of God and the good of others, we make ourselves like Jesus, walk the way of the cross, and identify in suffering – even when it’s not fair.
