It helps create more meaning, show up to sessions with more intentionality, and just gives my clients a little bit of nostalgia when they see their photos, knowing that their family photos in 2026 were created on the same format as they were in 1996 during their own childhood. 

I also have a background in journalism, so this project really feels like going back to my roots. I have talked to people about everything from homelessness and immigration to beards and wine.
