Before hiking apps, GPS, Instagram, or documenting every adventure, there were family camping trips, paper maps, river floats, scuba diving, and a dad who helped shape my love for being outside.

One encounter with a grizzly bear helped spark what would become a passion for photographing wildlife in the wild.

What would life look like if you could live on the road and chase the perfect photo?

I didn’t grow up hiking mountains or even really consider myself an outdoorsy person. A huge part of my outdoor journey didn’t begin until my 30s.
