Identity . . . can we talk about it !? What are you rooted in? How do you show up in a room? SO many questions and so little time. We can talk about this through a number of different avenues, but tonight we chose this specific way. . We delve into choices and what we ought to get into as adults regarding what makes us who we are.

Identity - Definition ( I got two for ya )

1. the fact of being who or what a person or thing is.

2. "Identity" refers to the unique combination of qualities, beliefs, characteristics, and affiliations that make a person or group distinct and recognizable, forming their sense of self and providing continuity over time. It encompasses who someone is, their personal experiences and values, and how they are perceived by others.

Welcome to episode 3 of That Quirky Black Girl podcast. In this episode, we tapped into the quirky girls in the bible. The women we are discussing include: Deborah, Hannah, Ruth, Esther, Mary, Mary Bethany, Mary Magdalene, and the Samaritan woman. These women shared characteristics of faith, willingness, and surrender. These women were postured! We all can see ourselves in these women. These were regular women just like you and me. These women were quirky but honored by God.

The big question of the day is " What has your posture been looking like?"

Are you open to Him? Cause ya know, . . .

Life be lifing but, God does his big one regardless of what you've been through. HE LOVES YOU!

It doesn't matter what you've been through in your past or where you've come from. It absolutely, matters how you choose to continue. So, let us talk about it! What has God been trying to bring to your attention?

If I'm an answered prayer what doors do I need to walk into?

What is God trying to discontinue in my bloodline?

How can I represent Jesus to my community and who am I here for?
