Hola, Ola Daso….

It is with sadness to announce the passing of my friend, brother, mentor Kabelo “KayB” Moqha who sadly left us early hours of Saturday (30th of August) In a car accident. Kabelo was a huge part of my life, as I just met him just after the passing of my mother in 2009. As a young boy who was trying to figure out life, he took me under his wing, and we went on to form a bond of an older brother and younger brother.

KayB played a huge role in my growth as a man, Musically and in Life in general. His Impact in my life was huge. I will really miss you mfowethu and always remember you through what brought us together MUSIC. As you would say “Tunz ntwana yami, asiyi shubise.” Thank you for everything mfo, this is my tribute to you. Rest In Boogie bro wami.

In the same breath I’d like to pass my condolences to the family of Poizen who also lost his life In a Car accident the same morning, while our other DJ friend Chymamusiq was critically injured wishing him a speedy recovery.
