Christmas is the word that points to Jesus’ purpose. Death no longer is the last word. Jesus, through His death and resurrection now is the final, everlasting word. Christmas is the truth that Christ is come, the truth longed for and now sung. Christmas is a melody of peace played on the heartstrings of humanity.
May our marveling in the salvation of our God’s presence, Immanuel, break out like Anna’s, in both gratitude and continuing to offer the glass of the water of salvation to women and babies otherwise led to the slaughter that is abortion.
