That Which Name May Not Be Uttered

Conservative Jewish tradition holds that G-d remains nameless, and is reffered to as "the Name" or "that which name may not be uttered." So God interacts, but does so intermittently, what John Dominic Crossan calls "asserstion and subversion." But when God becomes flesh, he takes on a name.
