An isolated geological team in the Norwegian outpost of Ny-Ålesund, cut off by a brutal blizzard, unearths an ancient anomaly during a deep-ice drilling mission. The discovery coincides with a series of unsettling events, starting with the bizarre and gruesome death of a crew member. As the remaining crew grapples with the escalating horrors, a terrifying truth emerges: the thing they found is intelligent, and their fragile peace is shattered as it begins to subtly manipulate and corrupt their reality.
