As we close out the final day of 2020 - I can’t help but do two things… 

Reflect on this crazy roller coaster year we have had - and send you, our loyal friends, off with our love and appreciation.

Hi, i’m Kim Dowling the broker here at coastal luxury partners – and our entire team sends you love for a happy new year!

First, as we reflect back – we can remember a fantastic January, a confusing month of February, and approximately 305 roller coaster days later – that we have all spent together – and now we are about to leave 2020 behind with new and wonderful opportunities ahead.

We have all grown so much during this challenging year. It hasn't been easy, and I would imagine it’s a year none of us will forget. What can we say really? There aren't enough words or emojis to properly define the emotional roller coaster we have been living on.

We have been navigating a pandemic together

We’ve seen important aspects of life that we had lost in our hectic, busy days become a priority again

Unfortunately some have lost loved ones,

and then we had new precious new babies born.

Everyone became proficient in technology and learned all about zoom

We threw away habits that seemed frivolous and learned to embraced simple pleasures

Our team of agents and staff here at Coastal Luxury Partners adapted at lightning speed and immediately launched safety protocols – especially for our listings, virtual tours, video conferences with clients,  and digital signings. We were lucky – with our in house marketing team and support staff we already had all the technology in place.

Our only focus for the past 300 plus days has been to ensure our clients are safe and comfortable  - and can continue to move forward with their lives and plans. At times it’s been a challenge to figure out how to get clients packed up and moved from one place to the next – but we did it together!

We continued with buyers purchasing the home of their dreams, and sellers happily able to sell their homes through the entire year of 2020 -  in what turned out to be the busiest and most successful real estate market in over a decade.

I have loved seeing everyone one of your thoughtful testimonials – we are so grateful – and we could not have had such a successful year of service without our agents and staff that work diligently day in and day out. I know our team is still hard at work with five more families that need to close during this last week of the year.

And speaking of the new year – I love New Year’s eve – it’s like hitting the restart button for all things new and wonderful right around the corner. New goals – new accomplishments – new ambitions – we are ready to go here at coastal - that’s why we gathered together in November with our entire office to chart business plans and goals for 2021. I’m sure you are working on plans for your own year ahead.

The best part of this past year for me was watching us all come together

We supported our neighbors and watched out for our communities.

It was good, bad, beautiful, ugly, quiet, and super busy - all at the same time.

Most importantly, we made it, and now we get to look out for the good ... those things in life we forgot to be grateful for in our typical, hectic 100 mile an hour lives. I would imagine we will carry many of the gifts we learned into the new year

So, 2020 - good bye – it is time for you to go

May 2021 be full of kindness and hopefully we can finally have some fun

... and despite the many challenges of 2020, the team here at coastal has some truly AMAZING milestones to celebrate - ALL THANKS TO YOU – our wonderful and loyal clients, friends and neighbors!
