Join me and my guest, my husband Pastor Jay Smith for this special Christmas edition of the 10.10Podcast.  We talk about our favorite Christmas traditions (and least favorites), whether Christians should celebrate Santa or not and we talk about biblical generosity.Christmas is a wonderful time to think about true generosity and especially what the Bible says about giving to others. In a world of social media, is it ok to post about your acts of generosity or is it better to not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing?  As we explore what true generosity looks like, we will look at the historical Santa, AKA Bishop Nicholas of Myra, Turkey and learn some lessons from a generous and godly Pastor from centuries ago.

Life is hard. There is just no way around that truth.  Things are going to happen that catch you by surprise and maybe even knock you off your feet and some of those things might be the consequence of sin that either you committed or sins that others committed against you. The deciding line is how you handle those moments.  Your choices matter and when it comes to life, our choices have eternal impact. I loved hearing Rochelle's story of the grace of God in her life when she found herself single and pregnant at 19 years old.  She chose her hard and that was giving her daughter to an adoptive family to raise. I know you will be inspired and challenged by her story.
