In Season 1, Episode 1 of The 2 a.m. Circle, Michelle Merritt sits down with The Posse, a close circle of friends whose story starts with a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser. They explain what the 2 a.m. Circle really means, from the friends with the shovel to the 6 a.m. network and the 8 a.m. circle, and why they keep their group intentionally exclusive. You'll also hear how they speak up for one another when someone isn't in the room and what it takes to find and keep true friends.
On Tuesday, my chapter in Emergent Power: Redefining Love, Health, and Work goes out into the world. It’s about The Posse, the circle of people who showed up for me when my life changed overnight. So it felt right to kick off my new podcast, the 2 a.m. Circle, with them.
Our first episode is a conversation with The Posse about the power of relationships and how they carry us through the hard moments and help us find our way back.
This summer, while connecting and reconnecting with friends, family, and colleagues, I learned that so many of us worry we don’t have a circle strong enough to hold us up when we need it.
Most of us have more of one than we realize. It just takes reaching out, and showing up.
Every Thursday, I’ll be inviting guests to share how they foster, build, and grow relationships that matter. The people who answer the 2 a.m. call. The ones who help us find our way back.
The 2 a.m. Circle launches Thursday, October 15. Subscribe on YouTube or your favorite podcast app so you don’t miss it. And watch for the Emergent Power order link on launch day, Tuesday, October 13.
Who would you call at 2 a.m.? Tell me in the comments. I’d love to hear who your circle is.

Launching October 15th!!
The 2 a.m. Circle is about the people who show up when things get real.
The friends, family, and mentors we call in the hard moments.
The ones who help us find our way back.
Every guest brings a different story of connection: a relationship that changed them, a lesson learned in the dark, a circle that held them up when they needed it.
If you're looking for inspiration from a story like that, join us.
