The two most important metrics in our business are average cost of acquisition of a new customer, and average lifetime value of a customer. If lifetime value is greater than cost of acquisition, we can survive and thrive long term even though we may need some financing for operations. The lower we can reduce the cost of acquisition and raise the lifetime value, the greater the spread and the higher our profitability.
