If you've watched the documentary, tips are INDEED going to the top. What I didn't know is just how bad the scale actually is.
Wow.
I can't think of another example of worker exploitation currently happening in the country right now with a dollar figure that exceeds $220,000,000 a year. Money being taken directly from the lowest earners in the city all by the highest earners in the city, right in front of us. If you've dined in a restaurant in Miami, you unfortunately and unknowingly become a part of this.
I list only a fraction of these insane examples in this episode with much much more to come. This is just an update.
Elected officials need to know about this, restaurant guests need to know about this, service workers need to know about this and a few of these restaurants might need lawsuits that take action and have class....TAKE A LISTEN
