Michael will examine the following Teaching from the symbolic perspective: “Jesus said: ‘The mote that is in thy brother’s eye, thou seest; but the beam that is in thine eye, thou seest not. When thou casteth the beam out of thine eye, then thou wilt see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother’s eye.’” Here is the teaching in the New Testament: “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine wn eye?” (Luke 6: 41)
