The 320 Podcast

We've looked at the longsuffering of Jesus but I actually recorded this one first after the Lord had been working with me on the lens of longsuffering with others. It is meant to challenge us to have staying power with others because often we do not know what hearts are going through behind the scenes.

Longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit. So, let's talk about it...

For a couple of weeks the Lord has been speaking to me about longsuffering. First with one another and also by His own example as a longsuffering Shepherd and Savior.

Today, I'm on the road but wanted to talk about the longsuffering of Jesus so that we are reminded of His example to us but also that we might understand better His nature when we are struggling.

The Lord had been speaking to me to remember to "use what I have." Stewardship is very important to me in ministry.

Then I ended up in two seperate meetings with sisters who were also doing the same thing in their own ministries and it was SOOO LOVELY!

Sometimes, we think we need to wait for something "new" or "better" when God has aleady set aside for you something He has chosen for you.

Learning to use what you have even when it's full of imperfections, found at a thrist store, or consignment shop is just as beautiful.

Let's look at a few scenarios in the scriptures where people simply used what they had to fulfill Kingdom purpose.

This podcast is a little follow up from last week's discussion on "How do we know when God is speaking to us?"

I had the Lord chase me down with a sweet message so in order to keep sharing practical ways the Lord speaks to us, I wanted to share it simply with you so you can also recognize the moments the Lord is interrupting our daily life with His heart.

A couple of questions have been asked to me lately that I thought would be good to answer here on the podcast for others to also hear.

1. How do you know when God is speaking?

2. What is your method of Bible Reading to stay in the Word.

Both of these are great questions and I thought I would just share a brief response of what I've learned over my years and how even my seasons of Bible Study have changed throughout varying times.

This is not a deep study podcast today. I am only sharing from my back porch a sweet happening while on this sabbatical of mine.

I want to encourage you all that every step matters:)

I came back from our women's retreat with so much the Lord taught me. I thought I would share my thoughts with you today.

The Lord gave me an urgent burden to begin to pray healing scriptures over many in this season who are in a struggle of health. This led into a time of prayer and simply listening for how the Lord might speak to us.

May His Word be sent once again to heal many...
