A few months ago, 3D Hubs introduced the "Express Checkout." It was a way to streamline the checkout process for newer, less experienced users. Although it may have been a great fit for some, advanced users and the hubs themselves were not pleased.
50 hubs were chosen by 3D Hubs to do the bulk of these orders and would be chosen automatically. Due to an error in the hub auto-selection, Fargo 3D Printing ended up getting a deluge of orders. We just couldn't keep up.
Although the Express Checkout has since been updated, it has alienated a large amount of smaller hubs. We will continue using 3D Hubs in the future but are currently not focusing on custom 3D printing.
