every day satisfied at how much I could accomplish before noon

I tried reading this while lying in bed at night but it would get the wheels turning in my head and I'd want to get up and do something, so I had to stop. Instead, I read one chapter every morning before starting my day and reaped the productivity boost, every day satisfied at how much I could accomplish before noon. It wasn't an easy thing to do, reading only a chapter a day, because once you get to know some of Eric's background and learn of the disastrous, life-threatening upset that befell him, you want to know more of his story: it truly is inspirational.

A nice addition to the personable, motivating story and the excellent quotes that were found throughout, was the research and numerous case studies that reinforced several gems of life-changing advice. And if you are feeling too old, that it's too late to achieve a desire of yours, you'll change your mind or be reminded that it's never too late But the biggest thing I took away from the read is how little I've been doing to achieve my goals, when really I thought I was quite disciplined at working to meet them. But I could've been doing a whole lot more. A change in mindset and a look into one exceptional man's life was key.

Great read

I just read Eric Laughton's book, "The 4 Ms of Success." This book is a great read. It is clear and easy to understand. The author packs the wisdom from his life experiences and his own research and readings into this excellent summary of success philosophy. It is almost a 'digest' of many other self-improvement books. There is no wasted verbiage; only clear discussion of simple but profound and powerful concepts. I found it easy to understand and while I have come across and used some of the ideas he discusses, I think in this book they are gathered together in an entertaining and easy to apply format. The book is well worth the purchase price and may help anyone by giving them tools to help achieve their dreams. Nice job Eric.
