Not using your employers matching funds to the fullest is the biggest mistake you can make.  That's from Dan Beck, the co-founder and CEO of 401GO, who says you can double your retirement contribution

Dan also says not contributing to a 401k plan as soon as you're able is the second biggest mistake.
