Today we're all coming to you from Boston to talk podcasting and M O N E Y. Katie and Katherine met a work a few years ago and found themselves asking each other questions that can feel taboo like what is a normal salary, what kind of benefits are you utilizing, and how do you negotiate? When they realized that these topics might be valuable to other women as well, they started The 411k!
What is your first experience with money? Do you have a story that comes to mind? As a kid, Katherine worked for her spending money and Katie lived by "if it was on sale you could get it". We don't realize how our stories about money growing up translate to our adult lives until we start to pay closer attention to our finances (which is financial literacy).
