The 4D Picture project is an international research study which aims to help cancer patients, their families and healthcare providers to better understand the care options that are available for them.

In this podcast I interview three members of the 4D Picture juniors team who work on different project areas.

  • Yufeng Liu describes her work on linguistics, to understand how metaphors in communication are used by people living with cancer.
  • Lucia Pitarch Ballesteros describes her computer science work, involving computational tools to understand how people use metaphors to describe their experience with cancer.
  • Cláudia Cruz Oliveira explains her work on medical decision making, involving development of prediction models in decision support tools for prostate cancer.
