A Vow is a promise. A belief. It goes into our core, our subconscious, similar to the #4 Key about how we see ourselves. Inner Vows are the things we say to ourselves, and we will see them played out in our lives eventually.  Join James as he shares how he first learned this Key in Counseling (Straight Outta Prison Podcast - S2 E11 “Falling Apart”) He discovered that most of his issues stemmed from promises he made to himself growing up. These vows were made to protect him, but they were causing him huge problems.

• If I promise myself I’ll never get close to anybody because no one can be trusted, then I will never have any good relationships or positive influences in my life. (True or False?)

• Give a personal example of a Positive Inner Vow. (How does that fill you with life?)
• Share of a time when you experienced the “pain” of rejection, and how it made you feel. Did this cause you to make any promises to yourself?
