Every two years, Senegal’s capital Dakar hosts a major exhibition that’s open only to African artists and the diaspora. This year will be the 13th edition of the Contemporary African Art show known as Dak’Art. During every exhibition, prizes like the Young Talent Award are handed out. But getting young people to step into an art gallery can be difficult as Emmanuelle Landais found out.
