Allan’s rule of thumb is that if someone else can complete a task 80% as well as you can, then you should delegate it.

Jeff describes this rule of thumb as a candid way of saying to yourself, “let it go.”

There are so many things we want to have control over, and there are things that just won’t get done as well, but if you can trust that they’ll get at least 80% of the way there, then let it go.
