Oppression that dehumanizes finds a way to hover over us through people, cultures and societal norms, but in the midst of a "cancel culture" it's important we remember that what we're hoping to cancel is a behavior - not a person or a business. If communication is the #1 method for dismantling oppression - then why are we so quick to walk away from difficult conversation?

Instead of trying to debate someone's feelings - let's do better to listen and consider their experience.
