How many kingdoms of life are there? Today, we say there are 7, but it also depends on who you ask. While telling the difference between a plant and an animal is relatively simple, the difference between an algae and a plant, or a bacteria and an archaea, is more difficult. There have been MANY revisions in our biological models of the kingdoms of life. This episode is the story of those revisions.
