This clip is taken from a recent audio we shared about how culture is god.

For both individual and collective success, we should know the power culture has over us. We don’t have control over what we don’t know well. We can’t change what we don’t fully understand. One of the self-awareness we all should have personally and collectively is the power of culture and how it molded our personalities and shaped our mentality. Instinctively, all of us would like to improve our lives and transform our teams, organizations, and communities. Sadly, we can’t translate this good intention into reality without fully understanding the power culture holds over us individually and collectively. Understanding and, most importantly, leveraging the power of both societal and corporate cultures is the only way to enjoy the transformation we all desire. 

To demonstrate the power of culture, I used an analogy. In this ~ two-minute video clip, I used an interesting analogy from my days as a Veterinary Medicine student. When we were cooking things in the lab :-)

We all are products of our native cultures. Our personalities are molded, and our mentalities are shaped by our respective cultures. Whether we’re aware of it or not, whether we would like to admit it or not, we’re blind loyal to our cultures. Unfortunately, very few societies, organizations, and teams recognized the power of culture and leveraged the power of culture for their own advantage. In this video clip, I argued why culture is the god of humanity. I also shared which societies and organizations have leveraged this power to experience economic miracles. In this short clip, using the headbutting between Mark Cuban (who supports Kamala Harris) and David Sachs (who roots for Donal Trump) in their recent conversation on the All-In Podcast, I shared the power of creating a corporate culture that incentivizes and encourages open dialogue and disagreement. I also cited the culture of Bridgewater, a Network-based multibillion-dollar hedge fund founded by Ray Dalio, as a good example. Many Ivy League universities studied this corporate culture (called Radical Transparency) and how it contributed to creativity and innovation.
